So, what is Geo-caching? Simply put, it’s modern day treasure hunting, using a GPS. The premise is this - you are given the longitude and latitude coordinates, and using these coordinates, you find the treasure. Some are in urban areas, others remote.

The “treasure” can be in all forms - usually in a watertight container. Some geo caches are simply a pen and paper, where you write your name, message, and when you found the cache. Other caches can be more elaborate, containing little gifts that other people leave in the cache. If you take an item from the cache, you have to leave an item. Chris Hoy has a few caches lying about. Find one, and e-mail Chris on what you find in the cache, and you will get something REALLY good!

Here is where you stand above a great land laid to waste. To the west lies a gothic tower. Here, the wind blows eternal, and the way to the cache is marked by ancient wood and iron. Once you reach the cache, you will feel like flying, and the beautiful panorama that surrounds you confirms that for every end, there is a new beginning.
